The slate is set for Week 5 in the Pac-12.  Oregon and USC will appear on national television on Saturday, Oct. 1, while the rest of the league plays on the Pac-12 Network.

The conference announced kick times and TV designations for the weekend of Oct. 1 on Monday. Washington’s (3-0) trip to Pasadena to battle UCLA (3-0) had previously been announced as a 7:30 p.m. PT start on ESPN, as that game will be played on Friday, Sept. 30.

Five games will take place the following day, with USC’s (3-0, 1-0 Pac-12) game against Arizona State (1-2) slated for a 7:30 p.m. PT kick on ESPN. Oregon’s (2-1) game against Stanford (1-1, 0-1 Pac-12) will start at 8 p.m. PT on FS1.

Oregon State (3-0) travels to Utah to take on the Utes (2-1), and that game is set for an 11 a.m. PT kick on the Pac-12 Network. California (2-1) will battle Washington State (3-0) at 2:30 p.m. PT on the league’s network. Colorado (0-3) takes on Arizona (2-1) in the nightcap on the Pac-12 Network, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. PT.

The Beavers host No. 7 USC this week, a game that will also be featured on the Pac-12 Network. Fans are not pleased with the fact back-to-back games where upstart Oregon State faces ranked opponents will be tucked away on the conference’s network. The game against the Utes also offers Utah a shot at revenge. Oregon State stunned the Utes in Corvallis last season, 42-34.

But it’s pretty clear which inventory the television partners value.

On ESPN, USC will be making a third appearance on national TV in its first five games. Oregon will be playing a fourth game on national TV. The game between the Trojans and Sun Devils also carries a little more intrigue now that Arizona State has officially parted ways with head coach Herm Edwards.
