Oregon, Washington, UCLA make final six for 4-star defensive back
One of the best defensive backs in the 2023 cycle has cut his list of suitors down to six.
Caleb Presley, a 4-star corner from Seattle (Wash.) Rainier Beach, revealed his finalists on Tuesday. Oregon, Washington, and UCLA made the cut from the Pac-12 alongside Alabama, Texas A&M, and Michigan State.
He’ll announce his commitment live on CBS Sports HQ next Tuesday, July 5, at 5 p.m. PT.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Presley rates as a top-100 prospect in the 2023 class, per the 247 Composite. He’s the ninth-best corner in the country and the No. 1 player from the state of Washington.
Michigan State is the only one of Presley’s finalists to have hosted him on an official visit so far. Both national recruiting analysts Steve Wiltfong and Brandon Huffman have issued crystal balls for the Ducks to land the blue-chip defensive back.
Oregon has two corner commits in the 2023 class already, including fellow 4-star and top-150 prospect Cole Martin.
The Huskies currently hold the second-ranked class in the Pac-12, but Presley’s addition would make him the top-ranked player in the class.
