Oregon, Washington land in top 10 for nation's top OT in 2024 recruiting class
Oregon and Washington are working on compiling the 2024 recruiting class, and both programs discovered they are still in the mix for one of the premier players in the country.
The player is Brandon Baker, a 5-star offensive tackle out of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. Baker kept the Ducks and Huskies on his top 10 list alongside some of the premier Power 5 programs in the country. Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida State, Miami, Texas, Nebraska and Ohio State are the other schools featured.
Prior to cutting down his list, Baker generated over 2 dozen offers from across the country.
All glory to God. Thank you to all those who’ve recruited me throughout my process. Down to my top 10, who will it be? pic.twitter.com/EHrQrhW1CD

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Baker is a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 OT in the country for the class of 2024. He’s also the 26th overall player in the country and the 2nd player out of California for the cycle.
So far, Baker has not received any crystal ball predictions from 247 Sports, so it appears his recruitment is still in full swing. Baker recently took an official visit to Ohio State and has other OVs scheduled for Texas and Georgia in June.
