Joe Lunardi, ESPN’s lead bracketology expert, believes there’s a lot on the line for both UCLA and Oregon this weekend.

UCLA and Oregon will meet on Saturday night in Eugene. Both teams will be hoping to improve their résumé for the NCAA Tournament.

The Bruins are still in the mix to earn a No. 1 seed in the Big Dance. Meanwhile, Oregon needs to add a big win like this to its résumé in order to potentially earn an at-large berth in the field of 68.

Here’s what Lunardi wrote about this game:

“UCLA remains in the hunt for a No. 1 seed and Oregon stands to move into the field if it can complete a weekend sweep.”

Oregon has one 4 of its last 5 games, with its only loss over that span coming vs. Arizona. The Ducks are currently in the “first four out” section of Lunardi’s bracketology projection.

UCLA has won 3 games in a row and has just 4 losses all season. The Bruins are currently in 1st place in the Pac-12 standings with an 11-2 record.

Here’s Lunardi’s take on Saturday’s slate of games:

Tipoff is at 7 p.m. pacific time on Saturday night.
