The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm preseason watch list was announced on Wednesday, and it featured eight quarterbacks from throughout the Pac-12. The list featured 76 players overall.

The award annually recognizes the top senior or upperclassman quarterback set to graduate with their class. Candidates are chosen based on player performance on and off the field as we head into the 2022 college football season.

Here are the quarterbacks from the Pac-12:

  • Jack Plummer, Cal
  • Brendon Lewis, Colorado
  • Bo Nix, Oregon
  • Chance Nolan, Oregon State
  • Tanner McKee, Stanford
  • Dorian Thompson-Robinson, UCLA
  • Cameron Rising, Utah
  • Dylan Morris, Washington

Being on the preseason watch list is not a prerequisite for winning the award. Notably, Morris begins the 2022 season as the backup to Indiana transfer Michael Penix Jr. at Washington. UW head coach Kalen DeBoer announced the news earlier this week.

The winner of the award will be presented with the trophy by The Johnny Unitas Educational Foundation President, John Unitas, Jr., at the Golden Arm Award banquet and celebration in Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
