Caleb Williams is one of multiple Pac-12 players named to Athlon Sports’ preseason All-America teams, which were released this week.

Williams beat out North Carolina’s Drake Maye for first-team honors. As the returning Heisman Trophy winner, Williams is expected to compete for that award again in 2023.

Several other Pac-12 stars were named to the first-team as well: Colorado’s Travis Hunter, Washington receiver Rome Odunze, Washington defensive lineman Bralen Tice and Stanford kicker Joshua Karty.

In total, Athlon released 4 preseason All-America teams. Here’s a summary of the rest of the Pac-12’s honorees:
