The 2022 college football season is creeping closer and closer, and on Monday Athlon Sports released its preseason All-American teams for the upcoming year.

The first and second teams had only a few from the Pac-12, but the Conference of Champions took over the third team, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. In total, there were three from the Pac-12 named first-team All-Americans, one named a second-teamer, seven named to the Third Team, and five named to the Fourth Team.

USC led the way with a total of five selections across the four teams. The Trojans also had the only first-teamers on offense with wideout Jordan Addison and offensive lineman Andrew Vorhees both being selected to the top team. USC and Ohio State were the only teams with multiple first-team offensive selections.

Caleb Williams and Travis Dye were selected for the third-team offense, and defensive lineman Tuli Tuipulotu was tabbed as a fourth-teamer.

Utah had four selections. Corner Clark Phillips III earned a spot on the Second Team while tailback Tavion Thomas, tight end Brant Kuithe, and offensive lineman Braeden Daniels all earned spots on the Third Team.

Oregon was next with three total selections. The Ducks had the only first-team defender from the Pac-12—linebacker Noah Sewell. TJ Bass and Brandon Dorlus earned fourth-team nods along the offensive and defensive lines.

Washington had a pair of selections. Offensive lineman Jaxson Kirkland landed on the Third Team while Zion Tupuola-Fetui earned a fourth-team spot at linebacker.

UCLA tailback Zach Charbonnet grabbed a third-team nod and Arizona State’s D.J. Taylor landed a fourth-team spot as a punt returner.
