AP preseason All-American teams revealed; Washington, USC lead Pac-12 selections
The AP preseason All-American teams were revealed on Monday.
The Big Ten led all conferences with 10 players on the First Team while the SEC was next with seven. The Pac-12 had five first-team selections, led by USC quarterback Caleb Williams and Washington stars Rome Odunze and Bralen Trice.
USC and UW were the only Pac-12 schools with multiple players on the two teams. The Huskies were the only Pac-12 school with multiple first-teamers.
Here are the First Team selections from the Pac-12:
- QB Caleb Williams, USC
- WR Rome Odunze, Washington
- All-Purpose Travis Hunter, Colorado
- K Joshua Karty, Stanford
- Edge Bralen Trice, Washington
And the Second Team selections:
- WR Jacob Cowing, Arizona
- S Calen Bullock, USC
The rest of the preseason All-American list can be found here. The 2023 college football season begins this weekend with seven Week 0 games. USC is among them; it’ll host San Jose State on Saturday at 5 p.m. PT.
The rest of the conference begins the following weekend with a pair of Thursday night games — Utah vs. Florida on ESPN, and Arizona State vs. Southern Utah.
