Oregon State picks up 2025 pledge from in-state 4-star TE
Oregon State had the top in-state 2025 prospect commit to the program on Friday via social media.
Baron Naone chose to commit the Beavers.
He is a 4-star TE out of West Linn (Ore.) High. Naone is the No. 22 TE and No. 1 Oregon prospect, per the 247Sports Composite. He comes in at 6-foot-3, 230 pounds.
He left a message for Oregon State fans:
“Blessed and excited! To announce my commitment to Oregon State University,” said Naone. “I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches who have helped me get to this point!”

Naone’s list of offers included multiple Pac-12 teams including Cal, Arizona, Arizona State, and Washington. UNLV, San Diego State, and Nevada were also included on the list.
Naone brings his versatility with him to Corvallis. He plays baseball as well as football for West Linn. Naone saw time on both sides of the ball as a sophomore last season.
