Oregon State lands commitment from 3-star WR, key 2024 prospect out of Washington
Oregon State is working on compiling the 2024 recruiting class, and the Beavers landed a key piece for the cycle on Monday.
Malachi Durant — a wide receiver out of Graham-Kapowsin High School in Graham, Washington — announced his commitment to Oregon State. Prior to his pledge, Durant generated significant Power 5 interest with offers from Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Washington State, Missouri and Cal, among others.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds, the 247 Sports Composite rates Durant as a 3-star recruit and the 109th WR in the country for the 2024 recruiting class. He’s also rated as the 12th overall prospect out of Washington for the cycle.
With his commitment, Durant immediately becomes the highest-ranked recruit currently pledged to Oregon State in the 2024 recruiting class. He joins fellow 3-star prospect Logan Saldate out of California as WR commits for Beavers.
