Oregon State is gearing up for the 2023 season. While most teams have finalized their 2023 recruiting classes, the Beavers picked up one late piece for the cycle Frida afternoon.

The player is Jayden Dixon-Veal, a wide receiver out of the College of San Mateo in California. Prior to his commitment, Dixon-Veal generated other Power 5 offers from Purdue and Illinois while San Diego State, UNLV, UConn and Temple were other programs interested in the WR.

“…I want to also thank every university who has taken a chance on me with providing me a scholarship as well as taking their time with me during this recruiting process,” wrote Dixon-Veal in his announcement. “With that being said I am 100% committed to Oregon State University.”

Listed at 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, Dixon-Veal has been rated as a 3-star JUCO prospect by the 247 Sports JUCO ratings. He’s also rated as the No. 15 JUCO WR nationally for the 2023 recruiting class. Dixon-Veal is the 5th WR for Oregon State in the cycle.
