Oregon State is an eight-point favorite over Cal in Week 6.

The 15th-ranked Beavers (4-1, 1-1 Pac-12) head to Berkeley for their second road game in three weeks to begin league play. Oregon State dominated Utah on Friday night for its first Pac-12 win of the season. It was a defensive slugfest, with just 28 combined points scored.

The early over/under in the game was set at 51.5.

Oregon State is 3-2 against the spread so far this season. The over has hit in three of the Beavs’ five games as well.

Cal is 2-3 against the spread, with the under hitting three times in five games.

The Golden Bears are coming off a 24-21 win over Arizona State at home to move to 3-2 on the season. Tailback Jaydn Ott ran for 165 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries, leading a ground game that cleared 200 yards (adjusted for sacks).

Sam Jackson V took over the quarterback position again and finished with a 41% completion rate, 130 yards, and one touchdown. Cal didn’t turn the football over, but it did get outgained by ASU on a per-play basis.

Kickoff at California Memorial Stadium is set for 7 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network.
