Oregon State is rolling on and off the field right now. Fresh off a win over Oregon to give the Beavers their best season in a decade, Oregon State has landed a commitment from a promising 2024 tight end.

Cupertino (Calif.) Homestead 2024 tight end Wyatt Hook announced his commitment to Oregon State on Thursday. He chose the Beavs over interest from Cal, Colorado, Washington State, and Hawaii.

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound pass-catcher ranks as the 27th-best tight end in the 2024 class. He’s a 3-star recruit in the industry-generated 247 Composite and the 56th-ranked prospect from the state of California.

“I picked Oregon State because the coaches have believed in me from the very beginning of the entire recruiting process and they have been great to me,” Hook told 247Sports. “I also saw something special that they were doing and wanted to become a part of it.”

Hook had 40 catches for 557 yards (13.9 a catch) and five scores this fall as a junior. He was also a productive player on the defensive side of the ball for Homestead, recording 38 tackles, eight tackles for loss, an interception, a blocked kick, and a fumble recover.

He’s the Beavers’ first known 2024 commitment. You can view his highlight tape below, via Hudl:
