Oregon State earns commitment from one of top 2023 Montana recruits
On Monday, Oregon State earned a commitment from 2023 3-star offensive tackle Jacob Anderson.
The 6-foot-6 Anderson announced on social media he’ll begin his career in Corvallis. He picked the Beavers over interest from Utah, Baylor, Colorado, and Kansas, among others.
I am excited to announce my commitment to Oregon state, thank you to everyone who has helped me get here! @Coach_Smith @FBCoachM @robertcolemoore @OregonState @BeaverFootball pic.twitter.com/KYHtQhLTtL

Anderson plays his high school ball for Billings West in Billings, Montana. He rates as a 3-star in the industry-generated 247 Composite and stands as the No. 2 recruit from the state of Montana. He’s also the 96th-ranked offensive tackle in the class.
The Beavers brought Anderson to campus for an official visit earlier this month. He then went to see Utah and was recently at Baylor. But it was the Beavers at the end of the day.
Anderson’s pledge gives Oregon State its seventh known commitment for the 2023 cycle. You can view his highlight tape below, via Hudl:
