Oregon State’s 2023 football schedule has been released, and the Beavers will open the season with games at Reser Stadium in four of the first seven weeks.

The non-conference schedule features games against San Jose State, UC Davis, and San Diego State. Pac-12 play opens with the Beavers in Pullman to battle Washington State on Sept. 23.

There’s a strong chance Oregon State is 4-0 heading into a Friday matchup with Utah on Sept. 29. And that game will see the Beavers look for revenge at home.

Oregon State then faces UCLA on Oct. 14 before going on a bye.

The schedule concludes with road games in three of the last five weeks. Oregon State plays back-to-back games on the road at Arizona and Colorado on Oct. 28 and Nov. 4. Then it returns home to host Stanford on Nov. 11.

The final two weeks of the regular season could determine whether coach Jonathan Smith and this Oregon State team takes the next step after a 10-3 campaign in 2022.

Oregon State gets to host Washington on Nov. 18. The Beavers lost to UW on a late field goal in 2022. Then they’ll travel to Eugene to take on the Ducks. Oregon State stunned Oregon last season with a shocking second-half comeback, so the environment should be as hostile as ever. Add to that the fact Oregon State hasn’t won in Eugene since 2007.

That game will be the only Black Friday game on the Pac-12 slate this season. Oregon State will get the main stage. The Beavers are hopeful to make a run at a Pac-12 title in 2023. They’ll certainly have a chance at the end of the season to influence what the championship game looks like.
