Oregon State adds commitment from 2024 in-state linebacker
Oregon State has received a commitment from Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic linebacker Dexter Foster.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound defender revealed his decision late Sunday night, selecting the Beavers over Montana State. Foster took an official visit to Corvallis on June 16, and he becomes the first in-state pledge for the Beavs in the 2024 cycle.

Foster is a 3-star recruit in 247Sports’ rankings. He doesn’t yet have a grade in the industry-generated 247 Composite, though that will likely change now that he’s in a Power Five class. In 247Sports’ own rankings, Foster is the No. 12 prospect from the state of Oregon and the No. 158 linebacker in the class.
