Oregon State is one of the most popular bets in the country this weekend.

According to Caesars Sportsbook’s Max Meyer, there has been more money put on the USC-Oregon State spread than any of the 16 NFL Week 3 game spreads and more than three times as much as any other Week 4 college football game.

As of publication, the Trojans are a six-point favorite over the Beavers at Caesars, with the total at 70.5 points.

Both USC and Oregon are 3-0 against the spread this season. Both teams have seen the over hit in two of their three games. But neither has seen a test like the one they’re about to get this weekend.

The Beavers are off to a fantastic start this season, unbeaten with wins over Boise State and Fresno State (on the road). Oregon State played Montana State last weekend and dropped 68 points. The offense has been explosive when looking downfield and the play at the line of scrimmage has been stout.

Quarterback Chance Nolan is up to 746 yards and seven passing touchdowns so far this season. They’ve been particularly strong in the first half, outscoring opponents 72-27 in the first 30 minutes — including 43-14 in the second quarter.

“You see (Nolan’s) experience starting to show up more and more as he gets more game reps,” USC coach Lincoln Riley said this week. “They just present a lot of challenges in terms of all the things to do with their tight ends, their motions of run game, marrying the play action game off of it. So it’ll be a big challenge for us, there’s no question.”

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network.
