Teams around the Pac-12 honor Oregon's Spencer Webb as Pac-12 play starts
As Pac-12 play opens for everyone throughout the Pac-12, teams are setting aside rivalries and showing some love to the Oregon Ducks football family.
Oregon State, Colorado, Washington State, and others throughout the Pac-12 have all painted the 4-yard-lines on their respective fields yellow to honor the late Spencer Webb.
To honor the life of @oregonfootball’s Spencer Webb on the first weekend of conference play, our Pac-12 family joined today in painting all 4-yard marks with @GoDucks yellow across the league.

Oregon did the same a few weeks ago for the home-opener against Eastern Washington. Last week, BYU placed a bouquet of flowers on the 4 and then carried an Oregon flag with Webb’s name on it out of the tunnel and onto the field.
Webb passed away prior to the start of fall camp. The Ducks have done several things to honor his memory since, including wearing a sticker with Webb’s No. 4 on the back of their helmets this year. The Oregon tight end was planning to switch from No. 18 to No. 4 this season.
Oregon plays Washington State in Pullman at 1 p.m. PT on FOX.
