Standout Oregon commit selected to play in 2023 all-star game
San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian receiver Jurrion Dickey has been selected to play in the 2023 Polynesian Bowl.
The 4-star wideout and Oregon commit was announced as the latest addition to the all-star game roster on Wednesday. He’ll be joined by fellow Duck commit Kodi DeCambra. Oregon is also in on several other prospects who are confirmed to be participating, so perhaps having future Ducks on both sides of the ball can serve as bonus recruiting time for Oregon.

Dickey is a top-100 prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, but by 247’s in-house talent evaluators, he’s viewed as the 59th-ranked prospect in his class and the 10th-best wideout.
The 6-foot-2 playmaker also competes in basketball and in track and field. He ran an 11.34 100-meter and a 23.01 200-meter as a sophomore at Valley Christian in addition to a 20-6.5 long jump. According to 247, he has a verified 4.58-second 40-time and a 37-inch vertical.
As a junior, Dickey caught 78 balls for 1,304 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns. He played all three phases of the game, securing four interceptions as a safety on the defensive side of the ball and working as a return man on the punt team.
There are few better in the 2023 class.
