Oregon has been one of the most impressive teams in college football this year. On both sides of the ball, the Ducks have playmakers who are able to make an impact.

One area where the team has been very impressive is protecting quarterback Bo Nix. The Ducks have one of the best offensive lines in the country, and don’t let teams get after their quarterback.

According to Pro Football Focus, Oregon’s offensive line has allowed just 49 pressures so far this season. That’s the fewest number of any FBS team, per PFF.

Nix has thrown the ball 232 times this year, and has been sacked only four times. This time in the pocket has allowed Nix to be right in contention for the Heisman trophy. He currently 2,089 yards, 19 touchdowns and only 1 interception in helping the Ducks to a 6-1 record.

The Ducks face their second tough road game this Saturday, as they travel to Utah to take on the Utes.  The offensive line will face the best defensive player it has seen all season, as the Utes defensive end Jonah Elliss is currently 3rd in the country with 10 sacks.

These two teams played a close game in Eugene last year, with the Ducks winning the game, 20-17. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 pm PT and that game will be aired on Fox.
