Oregon walked off by Oral Roberts in Game 2 of Super Regional, setting up rubber game for College World Series
Oregon was just 2 outs away from Omaha. Now, the Ducks have to start over fresh as they seek to get their second Super Regional win.
After the Ducks won in walk-off fashion on Friday, Oral Roberts returned the favor on Saturday. With a thrilling 8-7 victory, Oral Roberts has forced a Game 3 in Eugene.
Due to the NCAA’s Super Regionals format, Oregon played as the visiting team Saturday night in Eugene. After scoring 2 runs in the top of the 7th inning, the Ducks held a 7-4 lead. Oral Roberts chipped away over its final 3 at-bats to come out on top 8-7.
Oregon was holding onto a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the 9th inning. The Ducks were able to record 1 out, but with the bases loaded, a Justin Quinn single down the left field line plated the tying and winning runs.
