The Oregon Ducks will be sporting some awesome throwbacks against the Washington State Cougars on Saturday.

The team originally showed off the uniforms earlier in October, but didn’t reveal when they’d be worn. Now we know the team is sporting them for the much-anticipated Pac-12 showdown.

The uniforms have the typical classic green-yellow color scheme, but with a twist. The jerseys are green with yellow numbers and white and yellow striping, with yellow pants and green and yellow gloves. The helmets are yellow with a green interlocking “UO” logo. The duck is the classic “mighty duck” mascot, to round out the throwback style.

The uniforms are a callback to the ones worn by the team in a 2014 home game against the Washington Huskies. The Ducks won that matchup by a score of 45-20. The uniforms are honoring the jerseys worn by the 1984 team. Nike released a line of throwback merchandise last weekend in anticipation for this weekend’s game.

The Ducks will be looking to get back to their winning ways after suffering their first loss last Saturday at Washington. The Cougars are also coming off of a disappointing loss, falling 44-6 to the Arizona Wildcats.
