Oregon’s recruiting class took a hit on Friday when a 4-star wide receiver decommitted from the Ducks after he’d been committed for about a year.

Jordan Anderson is a 4-star recruit from Newport Beach, California (Newport Harbor). He had a reported 24 offers and was recruited to the Ducks by Junior Adams. Anderson’s offers include 8 Pac-12 teams.

Some of the top 11 for the 6-foot, 165-pound wide receiver were Washington, USC, Tennessee and Michigan.

Before Anderson’s decommitment, Oregon’s class was ranked No. 7 by the 247Sports Composite with 24 commits.

That leaves the 2024 class with a commitment from a 4-star in Dillon Gresham, and a pair of 3-stars in Roger Saleapaga and Jack Ressler from Utah and California among wide receivers. The Ducks last week also reportedly lost Ashton Cozart to the transfer portal.
