Oregon sees reserve offensive lineman enter transfer portal
Oregon offensive lineman Cole Young has entered his name into the transfer portal.
The Medina, Washington, native came to Oregon via the 2019 class and departs as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining. Young spent time this spring working as a reserve guard and tackle on both sides of the line.
Young stands 6-foot-5, 321 pounds. He did not appear in a game at any point during his four years with the program.
“Man It has been a ride! First off, I want to say thank you to the University of Oregon. I have learned so much and gained such wonderful memories that I will cherish forever,” Young wrote in a message shared on Twitter. “I am so grateful to Coach Cristobal, Coach Mirabal, Coach Lanning, Coach Klemn, Coach Terry, and all of the other wonderful coaches that have graced my experience at UO. My thanks to each and every one of them for making me the man that I have become. I am blessed and grateful to have learned under these great men.”
