Lake Stevens (Wash.) running back Jayden Limar has been selected to play in the 2023 Polynesian Bowl. The news was announced on Thursday.

Last month, Limar flipped what had been a lengthy commitment from Notre Dame to Oregon and signed with the Ducks during the Early Signing Period. He was one of the highest-rated running backs in the 2023 class, and now he has the Polynesian Bowl honor to add to the high school résumé.

Limar won’t be alone at the all-star game either. He’ll be joined by a heavy contingent of future Ducks — edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei, safety Kodi Decambra, edge rusher Teitum Tuioti, offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu, and defensive lineman Tevita Pome’e.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Limar is a 4-star back in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He ranks as the No. 17 running back in the class and the No. 2 prospect from the state of Washington.

The 2023 Polynesian Bowl is set to take place on Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. PT in Honolulu. Fans can watch on the NFL Network.
