Spring football begins for the Ducks on March 10.

Oregon revealed its practice schedule for the upcoming spring period on Tuesday, giving us all a date to circle on the calendar for the official on-field start of the Dan Lanning era in Eugene. The dates come courtesy of Oregon’s director of player personnel and director of recruiting Don Johnson.

Oregon will practice four times during the month of March, but with a caveat. Lanning and his staff will begin work with the team on Thursday, March 10, and Saturday, March 12, before players are released for Spring Break the week of March 14-18.

When they return, the Ducks will hold three practices a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, through the April 23 Spring Game.

Oregon will actually also hold one final practice after its spring game on Monday, April 25.

Excitement is running high for the Ducks to get rolling. Oregon returns a large percentage of snaps on the offensive line, as well as high-profile playmakers along the defensive front seven in Noah Sewell, Brandon Dorlus, Popo Aumave, Jeffrey Bassa, and Justin Flowe.

This offseason, the Ducks have also added a number of players via the transfer portal, including former Auburn quarterback Bo Nix and former Colorado corner Christian Gonzalez, Oregon signed a top-25 recruiting class in the most recent cycles that’ll see blue-chip prospects Devon Jackson, Jalil Tucker, Jahlil Florence, Dave Iuli, and Jordan James join the fold.
