Wear green.

Oregon revealed its Week 3 uniform combination on Wednesday. They’ll wear their complete Nightmare Green uniforms this Saturday in Autzen Stadium for a top-25 matchup with BYU.

The 25th-ranked Ducks are off to a 1-1 start to the new season. They opened the year with a 49-3 loss to Georgia, but took care of business last Saturday with a 70-14 win over Eastern Washington. Quite the yoyo effect in coach Dan Lanning’s debut campaign. Oregon will face top-15 opponents in two of Lanning’s first three games as a head coach, sandwiching a contest against an overmatched FCS team.

We’ll see how the Ducks look with another chance to take down a higher-ranked opponent.

Oregon returned to the AP Top 25 this week after its efficient performance against Eastern Washington, but Lanning knows the Ducks need to keep growing as a team with BYU looming.

“Obviously really excited to play a really good BYU team,” Lanning said on Monday. “They’re really talented. About as excited to go play them as I am to see our fans in the seats. This is going to be a big game where they can make an impact. I was really pleased with the crowd this past Saturday and I know they’re even going to be cranked up louder, more intense this next week. I think this is the kind of game the Autzen crowd can make a big, big impact in the game.”

With a 12:35 p.m. PT kickoff on FOX this Saturday, that Autzen crowd could create quite the atmosphere. Can the Ducks create any Cougar nightmares?
