Oregon will wear its throwback uniforms on Monday when it takes on Liberty in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.

The program shared its bowl game threads on Friday. The “Mighty Oregon” look — yellow pants, green jerseys, and a yellow helmet with the interlocking UO logo — will make its second appearance of the season. Oregon also wore the uniforms on Oct. 21 against Washington State, a game it won 38-24.

The Ducks will be looking for their 12th victory of the season on Monday when they face No. 23 Liberty. It would be just the sixth 12-win season in program history if they can pull it out.

Oregon is also making a seventh consecutive bowl appearance. Dan Lanning won his first bowl game as a head coach last season, with Bo Nix leading a 28-27 win over North Carolina in the Holiday Bowl thanks to a 6-yard touchdown pass with 19 seconds remaining.

Few expect Liberty (13-0) to provide quite the same kind of challenge, but the Ducks aren’t overlooking the Flames as the game approaches.

Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. PT on ESPN.
