Oregon coaches will be in-home with 5-star Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll star Nyckoles Harbor on Monday, according to a report from 247Sports recruiting director Steve Wiltfong.

That visit from the Ducks’ staff comes ahead of an official visit to Eugene scheduled for this upcoming weekend. Harbor is one of only two 5-star prospects in the Class of 2023 who remain uncommitted publicly. He’s a major target for the Ducks and coach Dan Lanning.

The 6-foot-5 athlete ranks as the 16th-best prospect in the class and the No. 1 athlete, per the 247 Composite.

A track star as well, Harbor is reportedly hoping to do both at whatever college he chooses. He’s a world-class athlete, with a verified 100-meter time of 10.28 in April 2022 and a 200m time of 20.79. He’s also done this:

The Ducks are recruiting Harbor to play tight end, according to 247Sports. Over his last two seasons on varsity, Harbor has put up video game numbers while playing tight end, wideout, and edge rusher for Archbishop Carroll. He has 31 receptions for 729 yards and 10 touchdowns on offense. He has 47.5 tackles for loss, 22.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, six forced fumbles, and four blocked kicks.

Harbor has taken official visits to Maryland, Michigan, and South Carolina already. There have been conflicting reports lately about a push from Colorado and Deion Sanders to get in on his recruitment as well.

Oregon currently has the 10th-ranked high school signing class in the 247 Composite. Adding Harbor would bump the Ducks up to No. 8.
