Rodney Peete did it in 1988. Khalil Tate did it in 2017. And now Bo Nix has done it in 2022.

For just the third time in Pac-12 history, a player has won the league’s Offensive Player of the Week award three weeks in a row. Oregon quarterback Bo Nix picked up his third straight weekly performance award from the league on Monday for his part in Oregon’s 49-10 win over Colorado.

Nix threw for 274 yards and two scores while completing 20 of his 24 passes. He ran for another two touchdowns and caught an 18-yard touchdown pass. It was his third consecutive game with at least five touchdowns and his fifth of the season.

Nix joined Bowling Green’s Josh Harris (Nov.17, 2001) as the only FBS players since at least 1996 with two passing scores, two rushing scores, and a receiving score in the same game. He also became just the third Oregon player to have one of each in a single game.

In addition to Nix’s award, cornerback Christian Gonzalez also earned the Pac-12’s Defensive Player of the Week award for his two-interception performance against his former team.

Oregon has won 12 total Pac-12 weekly awards this season, including seven in the last three weeks. Three different offensive linemen have earned the Pac-12’s Offensive Lineman of the Week honor. Three different defensive linemen have done the same.
