Oregon opens five-game Canada trip with 54-point exhibition win
A 54-point victory is a pretty good start to the road trip.
Oregon is in Canada, where it’ll play five exhibition games over the next six days. The first came Sunday against McGill University in Montreal. The Ducks used a 31-8 second quarter to fuel a 102-48 win. Oregon shot 59% from the field, 41% from 3-point range (11-for-27), and made 17 of its 18 free throws.

Oregon will head to Ottawa for the next two days, where it’ll play the University of Ottawa on Monday, followed by a Tuesday tilt with Carleton University. It’ll get a day to rest and recover before closing out the trip with games against McMaster University on Thursday and Toronto Metropolitan on Friday in Toronto. Each of the remaining four games tip at 4 p.m. PT.
“We haven’t gotten anything done the last two summers, and I think it affected our teams,” coach Dana Altman said earlier this week. “We’re back to pre-COVID. We’re back to having a great summer.”
