Oregon opens as three-score favorite over Stanford in Week 5
Oregon was one of the headliners across college football after recording a 42-6 win over a ranked Colorado Buffaloes team on Saturday.
Quarterback Bo Nix and his supporting cast looked like the real deal, and the Oregon defense had the strength to match. Because of how dominant the Ducks were, it comes as little surprise that Circa Sports has the team opening as a 25-point over the struggling Stanford Cardinal.
The over/under is set at 56.5.

It’s something that’s not out of reach given the season the Ducks have put together to this point and the fact that Nix is continuing to emerge as a player who could be an early-round draft pick and a serious Heisman Trophy candidate. He currently holds a 79.4% completion rate, passing for 1,169 yards with 11 touchdowns and 1 interception.
Stanford most recently fell in a close one, recording a 21-20 loss to Arizona. The Cardinal have won just a single game this season, their season-opener in which they topped the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors 37-24 on the road.
The Ducks have won three of the last four in the series.
Kickoff between No. 9 Oregon (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12) and Stanford (1-3, 0-2 Pac-12) is set for 3:30 p.m. PT on Saturday at Stanford Stadium on the Pac-12 Network.
