Oregon opens as multi-touchdown favorite against Washington State in Week 8
Oregon is an 18-point favorite over Washington State.
The Ducks (5-1, 2-1 Pac-12) return home in Week 8 after losing a down-to-the-wire game in Seattle this weekend. Despite a 36-33 defeat, the Ducks appear to have earned some respect; they held onto their spot inside the AP Top 10 on Sunday and then Vegas made them a huge favorite over a team that was just inside the AP Top 15 two weeks ago.
Washington State (4-2, 1-2 Pac-12) has fallen apart a bit over the last two weeks. A close loss to UCLA in Pasadena in Week 6 started a slide, but an out-and-out pasting by Arizona at home this weekend has the Cougars doing some soul-searching.
Early odds from Circa Sports have the over/under in the game set at 55.5.

The Ducks are 6-0 against the spread this season, but the under has hit in four of those six games.
The Cougars, on the other hand, are 3-3 against the spread. The under has hit three times in Wazzu games as well.
Perhaps there aren’t as many fireworks at Autzen Stadium in Week 8 as there were at Husky Stadium. Against Arizona, Wazzu was held to 234 yards of offense and just 4.3 yards a play. Arizona effectively limited Cougar quarterback Cameron Ward (22-for-30, 192 yards, one pick) because it didn’t have to worry about the run game.
Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
