Oregon named finalist for 4-star DL out of California
Oregon is 1 of 3 programs still in the mix to land 4-star defensive lineman Aydin Breland.
Breland announced his 3 finalists and his commitment date on Friday. He’s still considering the Ducks, Miami and Georgia.
Breland will make his commitment on Oct. 14:

Breland is a massive target for Oregon in the class of 2024. The Ducks have a major proximity advantage over Breland’s other finalists in this recruitment.
He attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 290 pounds.
Breland is the No. 38 overall player and the No. 6 defensive lineman nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 3 player from the state of California.
Breland took an official visit to Oregon over the summer. He also made trips to Miami, Georgia and Texas A&M back in June.
Oregon has 22 commits so far in the class of 2024, including 3 from defensive linemen. The group sits at No. 16 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
