Oregon makes top five for blue-chip Baltimore defensive lineman
Dashawn Womack, a 4-star defensive lineman from Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy, is down to five schools in his recruitment.
The hometown Terrapins are on his list. Three SEC schools are in the hunt as well—Georgia, LSU, and Ole Miss. And then there’s Oregon. Coach Dan Lanning has the Ducks in the hunt for one of the top 2023 prospects from the DMV area.

Womack ranks as the 13th-best defensive line prospect in the 2023 class. He’s the No. 2 player from the state of Maryland and the 106th overall prospect in the class, per the 247 Composite.
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound defender told 247Sports he’s looking to visit Oregon soon, perhaps during the Ducks’ upcoming massive visit weekend June 24.
