Oregon got some great news on Sunday.

It already had the top-ranked class in the Pac-12 for the 2022 cycle, and that group added another playmaker. Kyler Kasper, a 2023 wideout from Williams Field (Ariz.) announced that he has committed to Oregon. According to 247Sports, Kasper will reclassify to the 2022 group.

A 4-star wideout, Kasper had suitors all over the country. He chose the Ducks over offers from Tennessee, Notre Dame, Ohio State, UCLA, and Iowa (where his father played), among others.

Kasper has great size at the position, standing 6-foot-5 with a frame that can add weight to it. He’s rated as the 125th overall prospect in the 2023 cycle and the 20th-best wideout, per the 247 Composite. As a junior, Kasper registered 51 catches for 943 yards and nine scores.

“I am super excited to get up there and get things rolling,” he told 247Sports. “The coaches see me being able to do everything in that offense and lining up anywhere on the field, whether that’s in the slot or moving around to the outside. It’s a very versatile role.”
