Oregon lands commitment from 2024 TE out of Texas
Oregon added another piece to its 2024 recruiting class on Wednesday morning.
The Ducks picked up a commitment from tight end Kade Caton.

Oregon is the only major program to offer Caton a scholarship so far in his recruitment. North Texas, UTSA, Rice and Arkansas State are a few of the programs who have sent an offer to this point in the cycle.
Caton is a recent high school transfer. He moved from South Carolina and now attends Manvel High School in Manvel, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds.
Caton does not currently have a 247Sports Composite ranking. However, that could change before the end of the cycle. His recruitment has taken off in recent weeks — his offer from the Ducks didn’t come until late June.
Oregon now has 21 commits in the class of 2024. The group sits at No. 21 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
