Fields talked with 247Sports about a recent official visit to Eugene. Here’s what he had to say about Oregon:
“Things are looking pretty good with Oregon at the moment. My most recent visit there was cool because I was there for 3 days and really connected with the coaching staff,” Fields said. “The staff just clicks so well and I love the direction the program is going. It was very impressive to see what coach Lanning did last year and I really like coach Lupoi, coach Martin and coach Wadood as well.”
Oregon is currently listed as the favorite to land Fields according to a pair of crystal balls by 247Sports.
Fields is considered to be the No. 78 prospect in the country, as well as the No. 10 cornerback and the No. 8 player out of the talent-rich state of California.
