Oregon hoops lands pledge from 6-10 Stetson transfer

Oregon basketball dipped into the transfer portal Wednesday and added a pledge from former Stetson big man Mahamadou Diawara.

Diawara is entering his 5th year in college basketball and made a quick decision after entering the portal just 5 days ago as a grad transfer. He joins an Oregon squad that lost Kel’el Ware to Indiana this offseason.

Last season Diawara averaged 4.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season, shooting 54% from the field.

Oregon finished last season 21-15 and missed out on the NCAA Tournament.
