Oregon hoops adds commitment from mid-major transfer prospect
Oregon hoops landed a commitment from former Central Michigan transfer Jesse Zarzuela Tuesday afternoon.
Zarzuela missed half of last season for the Chippewas following an injury, but was CMU’s top player when he saw the court. He averaged 16.3 points, 3.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game last season and dropped a season-high 29 in a win over Buffalo. He scored over 20 points in 6 of his 17 games in 2022-23.
Zarzuela chose the Ducks over Pitt, Arizona and Oklahoma State, among others.
