In another major recruiting battle against some of the top dogs in the Pac-12, Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks have come out on top. Again.

On Monday night, 4-star wideout Jurrion Dickey announced his commitment to the Ducks live on CBS Sports HQ, picking Lanning and Co. from a final five that also included USC, UCLA, Washington, and Penn State.

Dickey is a top-150 prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, but by 247Sports’ in-house talent evaluators, he’s viewed as the 59th-ranked prospect in his class and the eighth-best wideout.

However you categorize it, it’s a major win for Oregon. The 6-foot-2 wideout also plays basketball and competes in track and field. He ran an 11.34 100-meter and a 23.01 200-meter as a sophomore at Valley Christian (Calif.) in addition to a 20-6.5 long jump. According to 247, he has a verified 4.58-second 40-time and a 37-inch vertical.

As a junior, Dickey caught 78 balls for 1,304 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns. He played all three phases of the game, securing four interceptions as a safety on the defensive side of the ball and working as a return man on the punt team.

He gives the Ducks their third known commitment in the 2023 class, joining 4-star corner Cole Martin and 3-star defensive lineman Tevita Pome’e.
