Oregon is looking good on the field, sitting at 5-0 heading into a massive Top 10 showdown against Washington in Seattle on Oct. 14. The Ducks will look even better from a uniform standpoint soon.

The program announced on Sunday that it will release throwback uniforms featuring the familiar UO green/yellow color combination: green jerseys with yellow numbers and white and yellow striping, along with yellow pants and green/yellow gloves. The throwback helmets are yellow with an interlocking “UO” logo.

The university hasn’t announced when these will be featured on the field, but it intends to sell them in stores.

Judging from social media, there’s plenty of positive attention around this look. Exact dates that it will be showcased on the football field remains to be seen and announced.

Meanwhile, the Ducks are kicking off an open week after a blowout of Stanford and will next travel to Seattle to face the Huskies on Oct. 14 in the latest edition of the Border War.
