Dylan Williams made his college decision official on Friday. The news came out on social media.

Williams is listed as a 4-star LB in the 2024 class. He is the No. 17 LB and recruit out of California in his class per the 247Sports Composite.

He picked Oregon over the likes of Michigan State, UCLA, and Miami. Williams visited with the Ducks on Jun. 9 and whatever he saw there must have convinced him to pick Oregon.

Williams joins Dan Lanning’s 2024 class as the first linebacker to do so. He is Oregon’s 19th commit from the 2024 cycle as the Ducks hold on to the top recruiting class among Pac-12 schools.

Oregon added a pair of commits recently from RB Da’Jaun Riggs and OT JacQwan McRoy.

The Ducks will be looking to build on what they achieved in 2022. Lanning led Oregon to a 10-win season last year.

Oregon’s 2023 season opens with Portland State on Sept. 2. With players like Williams coming into the program, the future is bright.
