Before getting into the coaching world, Rowe was a player at James Madison and Florida. He was a standout for the Dukes, averaging 17.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3 assists per game. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, joining JMU’s coaching staff during the 2007-08 season before getting his masters while staying on the coaching staff as a graduate assistant.
The Ducks are coming off a 21-15 season that saw them miss out on the NCAA Tournament. They did participate in the NIT, picking up 2 wins over UC Irvine and UCF before losing to Wisconsin.
Oregon will be looking to get back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021 this season. The Ducks will begin their season Nov. 7 against Florida A&M.
