Martin helped recruit a trio of blue-chip cornerbacks in the class of 2023: Cole Martin, Rodrick Pleasant and Daylen Austin. The Ducks also signed a pair of blue-chip safety prospects in this class as well.
Martin also made an impact in the transfer portal. Oregon added cornerback Khyree Jackson (Alabama), safety Tysheem Johnson (Ole Miss) and safety Evan Williams (Fresno State) via the portal this offseason.
Overall, Oregon’s 2023 recruiting class ranks No. 8 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Oregon will be hoping to build upon its solid passing defense in 2023. Last season, the Ducks ranked 3rd in the Pac-12 in passer efficiency rating allowed.
