The Dan Lanning era is close. It’s very close. Fall camp is under way and, on Friday, Oregon announced the gameday color schedule for the upcoming season.

The color schedule lets Duck fans know which could to wear each week if they want to match what the Ducks are wearing on the field. Oregon will don its iconic green to open the season against Georgia on Sept. 3 in Atlanta.

The following week, Oregon is asking fans to wear black, possibly indicating a “blackout.” The Ducks went all-black against Cal last season. The home-opener against Eastern Washington is set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. PT on Sept. 10.

Here’s the full schedule:

  • Sept. 3, Georgia: Green
  • Sept. 10, Eastern Washington: Black
  • Sept. 17, BYU: Yellow
  • Sept. 24, at Washington State: White
  • Oct. 1, Stanford: Green
  • Oct. 8, at Arizona: White
  • Oct. 22, UCLA: Pink
  • Oct. 29, at Cal: Green
  • Nov. 5, at Colorado: Green
  • Nov. 12, Washington: Yellow
  • Nov. 19, Utah: Green
  • Nov. 26, at Oregon State: Yellow

Oregon debuted its “Eggshell” unis last year against UCLA. This season, the Ducks are asking fans to wear pink for the October matchup with the Bruins. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so maybe we could see another black uniform with pink accents like what Oregon wore against Arizona a few years ago.

The Ducks have yet to officially unveil their jersey schedule for the upcoming season. We should be seeing that soon.
