Justin Herbert, former Oregon QB, reportedly undergoes surgery on shoulder
Justin Herbert led the Los Angeles Chargers to the playoffs this season, but the team lost its first game to the Jacksonville Jaguars in dramatic fashion, blowing a huge lead.
The former Oregon QB was dealing with a shoulder issue during the latter part of the season, and now it seems he’s getting it fixed.
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Herbert has gotten surgery to repair his torn labrum in his left shoulder. He’ll miss some time with the injury, but isn’t expected to miss any activities for the 2023 season:

Obviously, it’s good news that the injury wasn’t to his throwing shoulder, but this will still require time for Herbert to recover.
Herbert finished the 2022 regular season with 4,739 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He added 147 yards as a runner.
