In a 19-point win over the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night, Sabrina Ionescu did something no other player in the WNBA’s history has done.

She scored 26 points in 26 minutes, dished eight assists, grabbed eight boards, and connected on 10 of her 11 shots from the field. That marked the first time in WNBA history some has posted a 25-plus-point, eight-plus-assist, eight-plus-rebound game while shooting 90% or better from the floor.

The third-year guard and former No. 1 overall pick has been on an absolute tear of late. In the Liberty’s last four games, she has 104 total points on 57% shooting from the field.

In turn, the Liberty have won three of four after losing seven straight.

So far this year, Ionescu has six 20-point games in 12 appearances.

The former Oregon star averaged 11.7 points, 6.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds last season, her first full year in the WNBA (injury limited her to three games her rookie year). …Her 6.1 assists a night ranked third in the WNBA, and the sixth most in franchise history.
