Dylan Williams will be making an important decision very soon. He announced his commitment date on social media on Thursday.

Williams is an Oregon target and a 4-star LB from the 2024 class. He is from Long Beach Poly in Long Beach, California.

Williams will be deciding between Oregon, Michigan State, UCLA, and Miami on Friday at 1:30 p.m. PT.

He is the No. 17 linebacker in the country and the No. 17 prospect out of California in his class per the 247Sports Composite.

At 6-foot-2.5, 210 pounds Williams could be a force on defense.

Williams has taken visits with the Spartans, Ducks, and Bruins so far. With that being said, if he chooses Oregon he would be the first LB to commit to the Ducks from the 2024 cycle.

Oregon currently has the best 2024 recruiting class in the Pac-12 with 18 total commits. The Ducks have 12 4-star commits and six 3-star commits.

Oregon finished last season with a 10-3 record and a win over North Carolina in the Holiday Bowl. Some of its better wins came over ranked opponents like No. 12 BYU, No. 9 UCLA, and No. 10 Utah.

With Bo Nix returning at QB things are looking up for the Ducks under Dan Lanning.

Here’s a highlight tape of Williams showing everyone what he can do:
