Dan Lanning, Kenny Dillingham check in on Oregon's 5-star QB commit during bye
Oregon is off this weekend, but that doesn’t mean the Ducks’ coaching staff isn’t working.
On Friday night, coach Dan Lanning and coordinator Kenny Dillingham were on the road to check in on 5-star Detroit (Mich.) King quarterback and Oregon commit Dante Moore. The duo was on hand to see Moore battle Cass Tech and saw Moore show off his arm a bit.
What a pass!

Lanning was also absolutely styling, with a retro Oregon bomber jacket and the coveted Pit Crew Jordan 3s.
It was great to meet Oregon Head Coach @CoachDanLanning tonight at the King vs Cass Tech game at Wayne St.
Pretty notable that he came to watch his star commit @dantemoore05 during college football season.

Moore committed to Oregon back in July. Per the 247 Composite, he rates as the eighth-best prospect in the 2023 class, the fourth-best quarterback, and the top recruit from the state of Michigan. He’s also the highest-rated quarterback commit Oregon has had in the 247Sports era.
It was a massive summer for Moore as he shot up recruiting rankings with his performance on the camp circuit. He’s the No. 2 overall prospect in the class according to 247Sports’ own evaluators. Either way, he’s the future of the Ducks’ offense, so it’s no surprise to see a heavy Oregon contingent on hand when possible.
